Watch Pusha-T & Kanye West Channel Biggie & Diddy in Diet Coke Video
Pusha-T has dropped the video for Diet Coke, the first single from his upcoming album. The song was produced by 88-Keys, who made the beat over 18 years ago. Two weeks after premiering an unreleased track at Paris Fashion Week, Pusha-T is continuing his album rollout streak. On Tuesday, Pusha released the music video for his latest single Diet Coke. The Omar Jones-directed black-and-white video for Diet Coke features King Push and Ye recreating the video for Craig Macks Flava In Ya Ear (Remix). (That video famously features a young The Notorious B.I.G. and Diddy rocking today.)
The track features Pusha doing what he does best: rapping about distributing large amounts of cocaine. The song was produced by 88-Keys, who made the beat over 18 years ago.
After overnight-dropping the track, which includes production from Ye and 88-Keys, King Push shared the black-and-white, Omar Jones-directed visual on Tuesday afternoon. The video sees the two artists dancing in an empty, white studio through a series of experimental shots.
Yes girlfriend Julia Fox previously confirmed that the two artists were creating a music video during an interview before it was debuted at the afterparty for NIGOs Fall/Winter 2022 KENZO debut in Paris.
The track arrives four years after the release of King Pushs previous Ye-produced album, Daytona, which debuted in May 2018. Since then, Pusha T has released a selection of singles, including No Problem, Sociopath, Coming Home and Puppets (Succession Remix), as well as several collaborations with the likes of Babyface Ray, Black Thought, Divine, Mako, Swizz Beatz and several others.
