The Second KITH x Notorious B.I.G. Collection Has Officially Dropped
With the intention of improving its inclusion and diversity efforts, KITH has revealed a partnership with the Christopher Wallace Estate. The brand has officially launched its second KITH x Notorious B.I.G. collection, promising to donate all proceeds to local schools around Brooklyn.
In a recent statement posted by Ronnie Fieg on Instagram, he explained that he wanted to continue BIGs positive impact and in the process, spoke to BIGs son and daughter, CJ and Tyanna Wallace, about the idea and they loved it and wanted to be part of the discussion as we build these relationships. This sparked the initiative to reach out to six local schools, and subsequently allow KITH and the Christopher Wallace Estate to provide a helping hand at providing supplies, books, technologies and food.
At the core of the capsule, KITH for Notorious B.I.G. celebrates the iconic life of the artist. Outstanding portraits of B.I.G. himself are emblazoned on a range of apparel items including t-shirts, hoodies and crewnecks. The collection pays homage to the artists legacy and includes the Ready to Die Classic Logo Tee which features the unforgettable graphic of B.I.G.s debut studio album, Ready to Die. Another standout piece from the capsule is the Hypnotize Classic Logo Hoodie, which showcases one of the final photos ever taken of B.I.G.
The collection includes a slew of accessories and memorabilia complementing the apparel. Posters, ashtrays, lighters, slipmats and New Era caps are available for purchase. Rounding out the collection, KITH joined forces with Warner Music Group to re-release the original versions of the Ready to Die vinyl and the Life After Death double-cassette. Both are redesigned to feature the collections co-branding, immortalizing the partnership between KITH and Notorious B.I.G.
Pieces range between $20 and $150 USD. The KITH x Notorious B.I.G. collection drops March 9, commemorating the anniversary of the artists death. The capsule is now available online at KITH.
