Based on LAByrinth by Randall Sullivan, CITY OF LIES finds Johnny Depp starring as Russell Poole, an LAPD detective who spent decades trying to solve the murder or Christopher Wallace, aka The Notorious B.I.G. Forest Whitaker also stars as Jack Jackson, a journalist who joins forces with Poole to search for the truth. Now, if that sounds familiar to you, it's because City of Lies was once slated to hit theaters in 2018, but the film wound up being pulled from the schedule and has largely sat on a shelf since. It has now been announced that Saban Films will release City of Lies in theaters on March 19th, followed by a Digital and On Demand release on April 9th. You can check out the new poster below.
